Alma Match Day Set for August 25th at the KanEquip Arena, Wabaunsee County Fairgrounds

Alma, KS – Alma Match Day is happening on Tuesday, August 25th. Join us from 4-7 PM at the KanEquip Arena to support local charitable organizations and projects.

Last year, Alma Match Day raised $288,277, including $223,458 in donations, a $50,000 Patterson Family Foundation Match, and $14,819 Alma Area Foundation Match. We appreciate the community’s support and the continued backing from the Patterson Family Foundation.

This year, the Patterson Family Foundation has again granted $50,000 to the Alma Area Foundation (AAF). We are also soliciting matching funds from area businesses to increase the overall match. Donations will be matched at 50% up to $10,000 per organization, allowing participating funds to receive an extra $5,000.

Local organizations and projects will have booths at the event to share their work and how donations make a difference. Light refreshments will be provided.
 

Ways to Give

  1.  Give Online:
  • Visit www.AlmaMatchDay.com
  • Donations can be made online from 12:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, to Wednesday, August 26, 11:59 p.m.
  • The homepage will update to the giving form at 12:00 a.m. on August 24.

      2. In-Person Giving:

  • Join us at the KanEquip Arena, Wabaunsee County Fairgrounds, East 9th Street, Alma, from 4-7 PM on August 25th.
  • Meet local organizations, learn about their missions, explore volunteer opportunities, and make your gift on-site.

      3. Mail a Check:

  • Send to Alma Area Foundation, P.O. Box 192, Alma, KS 66401.
  • Download the 2026 Alma Area Foundation Match Day Donation form from the website.
  • Mail the form with one check for the total donation amount made out to AAF.
  •  Must be postmarked on or before August 25, 2026, and received by August 31st.
